2. New Meta Office in London, United Kingdom
11-21 Canal Reach, the newest and most noteworthy office building in King's Cross, is now open. This project, led by Bennetts Associates and completed by BAM, Cundall, and Ramboll, took three years to create a modern structure that's now the UK headquarters of Meta.
Not only is it the largest building in King's Cross, but it also stands out for its low carbon footprint per square foot, thanks to the use of eco-friendly materials and smart design. The building consists of two connected sections, each with its own atrium and elevators. It reaches up to 12 stories, featuring a vast 4,000-square-meter rooftop garden on the eighth floor, providing a peaceful, green space with great views of London.
The interior, fitted out by Gehry Partners and TP Bennett, aims for a BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ rating, aligning with King's Cross's reputation for sustainable buildings. It's designed with employee well-being in mind, from its biodiversity-friendly rooftop to 730 bike parking spaces.

3. JP Morgan Chase’s new headquarters, designed by Foster + Partners
JPMorgan Chase's new skyscraper at 270 Park Avenue in New York just got its final steel beam, soaring to 423 meters. Foster + Partners designed the structure, which can house up to 14,000 people. 4. Alibaba’s Shanghai Campus
Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) has recently revealed their innovative design for the new Alibaba headquarters in Shanghai's Xuhui District, a hub for arts and innovation. The building, resembling a cloud, reflects Alibaba's digital prowess and the ever-evolving tech industry.

7. Groupe Rocher Offices, Paris
A decade after helping Groupe Rocher acquire the Cap Connect building, Parella has revamped the company's workspaces. This renovation primarily aimed to integrate the Petit Bateau brand teams into Groupe Rocher's head office and introduce new flexible working styles, including a shift to flex office.
Each floor features a unique area representing a different brand, with an engaging entrance area and a centrally-themed 'village square'. Employees and visitors experience diverse settings like a garden, forest, ocean, and La Gacilly.
Decor played a vital role in this project, with the Global Design team even hand-painting some windows. Embracing upcycling, the team created unique pieces like a 2.5-meter-tall sea beacon and huts using recycled wood.
Groupe Rocher's staff are thrilled with the transformation, feeling completely at home in their new, creatively inspired environment.
8. Frog Design Offices, Austin
The design of Frog Design's Austin studio is deeply rooted in its local setting. Perkins & Will was tasked with capturing the essence of Austin in the studio's design, resulting in a blend of Southwestern architecture, influences from Marfa and Mexico, and a modern South Congress vibe. This concept creates a balance between a Southwestern feel and a connection to the city, providing ample event space while staying true to the frog design brand. The studio's design highlights the building's natural features and showcases the creative work inside.

The studio reduces the number of traditional workstations, opting instead for dynamic break-out spaces. Along with a variety of enclosed team rooms outfitted for collaboration, desks with adjustable heights and casters offer flexibility. The open floor plan includes conference rooms, the largest of which offer views of South Congress and downtown Austin for large meetings and presentations.
The maker space, crucial or industrial designers, is now prominently located in the open office area, celebrating the company's hands-on work. Next to it is a library for quieter collaboration, leading to a balcony with additional views. The office promotes health and well-being with a large bike room and a multipurpose wellness room for relaxation and as a mother's room.
9. Effective Communication brings the beach to the office in Barcelona, Spain
Swedish company Effective Communication chose El Equipo Creativo, a design studio in Barcelona, to create an office that reflects the company's ethos by combining work and play. The studio created a workspace that is vibrant and brimming with energy, drawing inspiration from Barcelona's lively beaches.
The office is designed to be welcoming and multipurpose, allowing staff to unwind, socialize, and work in the same area. The main call center room, critical for its function, features an acoustic ceiling resembling brightly colored beach towels, enhancing sound insulation. The floor is covered with a blue carpet that mimics the sea touching the shore.
